Organic Blackcurrant Plantation In Setomaa

Konspek OÜ was founded in the year 2000 and its sole owner and director is Margus Timmo, who also owns the hotel Pesa in Põlva. We have collaborated with Estonian University of Life Sciences, Räpina School of Horticulture and EMÜ Polli Center for Agricultural Research. We also share a common goal with Chaga OÜ in making Estonia a healthier nation. We are solely focused on organic farming and as such, hold an organic farming certificate EE-ÖKO-03.

Konspek owns three different types of blackcurrant plantations (6,5 and 4 years old respectively). Altogether, we have planted circa 10 hectares of blackcurrant fields, whose maximum productivity is up to 35 tons of berries yearly. Our main agricultural products are blackcurrant cuttings, blackcurrant berries and blackcurrant juice. Apart from that, we also produce (albeit in a smaller quantity) organic vegetables, whose volume we plan to increase in 2021.
